Finally arrived in Vancouver…
… this afternoon, and after a whistle-stop visit with relatives old and new I’m ready to crash out. We’re heading up country at the crack of dawn, so not much time to catch up on sleep.

We shall expect updates with photos of grandmere poised above 100 candles on a cake the size of a young adult moose, of course.
Sad to relate, thanks to KLM’s inefficiency, I missed the party by a couple hours and never saw the cake :-(I heard it was very good though!
