Macro Lens
I’ve never really been happy with my Sigma macro lens, and I’ve always regretted not buying the Canon. After last week’s VNF-West photo club, I was inspired to try my hand at macro photography again, and decided to take the plunge and buy Canon’s newer 100mm macro lens, a 2.8L lens with image stabilisation. It arrived today so I’ve been snapping away in the kitchen in between doing other jobs.
Pasta – no prizes for guessing that this later formed part of my dinner, topped with homemade pesto, very garlicky, and using homegrown basil. Yummy.
Broccoli – from the allotment. Left it a bit late, it’s started to flower! Other parts of it have also been nibbled on by the pigeons, which have already decimated most of the leaves, not to mention my onions and garlic.
Mouldy raspberry – being inept has its advantages, I think this is actually quite pretty. I did throw them out when I’d finished photographing them, you’ll be glad to hear.
Grapefruit peel – the leftovers from making juice
Raspberry, orange and grapefruit juice – made from non-mouldy raspberries!
