Iceland – Reynisfjara beach
We spent our last morning in Iceland at Reynisfjara beach photographing the glacier ice which is swept out to sea from Jokulsarlon Lagoon (photos of the lagoon to follow) and washed up on the black sand beach. When we first arrived the beach was disappointingly bare, with only some small chunks of ice. During the time we spent there, though, the ice kept coming in, until suddenly there were huge pieces of blue glacier ice with large waves crashing over them.
